If there is one article of clothing that is an absolute must it is baby singlets. One challenge that many new parents may face is keeping their children warm during the day and night. Baby singlets are tight-fitting and will not ride up to expose their back to the elements. It is recommended that all parents have at least five to ten baby singlets on hand. You'll often find that singlets will come included with other baby outfits and essential baby sets. You can find good quality singlets in the Best&Less online store.

Shopping online for singlets is the easiest method for buying any baby products you need. At Best&Less we have over 180 stores all over Australia and you can use the online store to see all our products at any time. You can enter your address to find the store nearest you and you'll see what is available at that store. We understand busy parents are usually pressed for time which is why we make it convenient for you to shop in our stores. In addition to baby singlets we also carry a huge range of other baby products including baby knitwear baby shoes baby bibs and baby wraps. If you are buying a gift for a friend or family member you may prefer looking at our baby gift ideas or baby accessories.

How to choose the best singlet for your baby?

Baby singlets need to be reasonably tight on your baby for the perfect fit. Many singlets are longer than regular shirts as this allows them to be tucked into your baby's pants. Having a singlet tucked in will prevent it from riding up and exposing your child's back to cold weather. Singlets are designed to be an additional layer of clothing and be more secure than what a shirt will usually offer. As babies need to be kept warm dressing them in layers is often the best way to do this. If you happen to go somewhere that is warm then you can quickly take off your baby's shirt and leave them in the singlet.

Almost all baby clothes are sized based on their age. While this is not a foolproof method it is a good guide for what clothes will best fit your child. At Best&Less we have an extended size guide to help parents choose which singlet will best fit their child. You'll find that the sizes of our singlets range from tiny newborns to eighteen months. After your baby is over eighteen months old you'll need to shop from the children's clothing section. To measure your baby lay them on a soft surface and measure them from their heels to the top of their head. This measurement will give you their overall height. You can also measure their chest for the perfect fit. To measure your baby's chest lift their arms and wrap the tape measure around them just under their armpits. When measuring their chest do not pull the tape measure too tight. If you don't have a flexible tape measure use a piece of string and then flatten that out and measure it with a straight ruler. Take these measurements and find the best size for your child. When buying clothes for babies it is often better to buy some that are slightly larger than too small as they'll grow very quickly.

At Best&Less we recommend having at least ten baby singlets as a part of your child's wardrobe. Singlets are very handy at keeping your child warm but if they get wet they should be changed. You may find that your child will wear a couple of singlets per day. Singlets will wash easily and dry fast but having several available it'll mean you won't need to put on the washing every day.
